Introducing Sepiloc Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre

Following our initial meeting with Orangutan Appeal UK (OAUK) in October of 2025 Chair of Trustees, Richard Gale, then visited the Sepilok Rescue Centre in Borneo to see first-hand the work that OAUK do in the preservation and rescue of this endagered species. The GFT have pledged to help with major infrastructure projects that the Centre look to carry out.

The OAUK’s Trustees meet this summer and we hope to hear of any potential projects after that meeting. Individuals can support OAUK by adopting an Orangutan at Sepilok by visiting: https://www.orangutan-appeal.org.uk
